Master Gardener Stacy Tornio will be at The Learned Owl Book Shop sharing ideas and signing her new book, Project Garden: A Month-By-Month Guide to Planting, Growing, and Enjoying All Your Backyard Has to Offer. Project Garden is a month-by-month parent/child activity book with recipes, project ideas, gardening ideas and more. There will be activities for the kids and treats from her book for everyone to try.
Stacy Tornio is a gardener, nature lover and writer living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a Master Gardener, she volunteers her time by teaching gardening classes to Milwaukee-area youth. Tornio has been writing for kids and youth for nearly 10 years; and for her day job, she works as an editor for a national gardening and nature magazine.
