Author Dandi Daley Mackall at the Holiday Walk, Dec. 4

12/04/2011 2:00 pm

During Hudson's annual Holiday Walk (Sunday, Dec. 4, 12-6 PM), The Learned Owl will be holding a raffle for Molly, the American Girl doll. Enjoy wine, cheese & crackers and candy canes as you browse.

At 2 PM, meet internationally recognized children's author Dandi Daley Mackall, who will be signing copies of her new children's book Listen to the Silent Night. Mackall's latest holiday offering opens up our ears to the sounds made by each participant in the Nativity story. This fresh new take on the classic story reminds us to take a moment from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season to not only look but listen for the true meaning of Christmas.

Dandi Daley Mackall is the author of over 400 books with millions of copies in dozens of countries.  She writes for every age and in nearly every genre. She keeps busy doing school visits, keynoting at conferences, and writing from rural Ohio, where she enjoys her family, including horses, dogs, cats, and a changing array of outdoor creatures.
