Donna Przybojewski at the Learned Owl (Aug 19)

Donna Marie Przybojewski is an 8th grade language arts teacher at St. Benedict Catholic School in Garfield Heights and Thoreau Society Ambassador for the Bicentennial of Thoreau's birth this year. She designed a year long celebration of the author for the 2016-2017 school year, with lessons crossing the curriculum throughout the year. Each month the school focused on a new Thoreau topic of a specific discipline.

Her passion for Thoreau's writing and life led her to write two books for young people, which she will bring to The Learned Owl Book Shop on Saturday, August 19th, from 1 to 3 p.m. She will be signing "Henry David Thoreau: Who Can He Be?", an ABC book about the author, "Henry David Thoreau Loved the Seasons of the Year", and two coloring books for children.

Ms. Przybojewski is an energetic and engaging writer who is excited to share her love for and information about Henry David Thoreau. You will be glad that you stopped by, and your kids will, too!
