Eliot Parker with Code for Murder (Dec 16)

Author Eliot Parker will be at The Learned Owl Book Shop from 1 to 3pm on Saturday, December 16th. He will be signing his new novel "Code for Murder".  Parker is the author of three previous novels, most recently "Fragile Brilliance", a finalist for the Lords of Discipline Thriller Prize.

In "Code for Murder", an overzealous decision by Cleveland Police Lieutenant Stacy Tavitt leads to a botched undercover investigation. Tavitt is attacked and her unconscious body is dumped in to the frigid Cuyahoga River. Six months later, her first case after medical leave involves the murder of Cleveland Browns football player Devon Baker. When Stacy comes close to solving the case, the killer wants her to suffer for an impulsive decision she made in the line of duty, and she realizes that the killer may be familiar to her.

Parker is a graduate of the Bluegrass Writers Studio at Eastern Kentucky University with an MFA in Creative Writing.
