Mary recommends
Mary has been at The Learned Owl for about ten years now. She likes literary fiction, but also has a reputation for being the shop's Wacky Reader (as in, "This is weird... maybe Mary will like it."). She especially enjoys books by Jane Austen, A.S. Byatt, Jeanette Winterson, Michael Chabon, Christopher Moore, Robertson Davies 
and P.G. Wodehouse (in no particular order). She also loves animals and books about them. Her dog can read (see photo at right).
