How to download and read eBooks...

First, create a Google Account.

Before you are able to purchase and download books from our website, you must first have a Google account. (If you don’t have one already, you can make one here.) Then you can find and purchase any available eBook here on our website.

Follow the different tips below for various eReaders to read your books on the go.



Directions for reading Google EBooks on your I-device (I-Pad, I-Phone, I-Pod touch)
1. Open the App store Application on your I-device
2. Click Search in the bottom menu, and then in the Search Bar enter Google Books.
3. Click on Free and then Install and wait for the application to download.
4. Once the download is complete, it will be on your home page (which you get to by pressing the physical button at the bottom of the device).
5. Open the App and input your Google ID and Password.
6. Click on the cover of the book you would like to read and it will download it to your device, meaning that you can read it everywhere even when you do not have internet access.

How to put Google EBooks on your Nook®

First Time Users only:
1. Install the latest version of Adobe Digital Editions software to your computer and follow the instructions to create an Adobe ID.
2. Now follow the steps below...

All Other Times:
1. Go to Google Books (
http://books.google.com/ebooks) and sign in under the same username that you used to buy the initial eBook from our website.
2. Click on View All under My EBooks which should be on the left side of the screen.
3. Then click on the title of the book located under the picture of the cover.
4. Click on Read on your device on the left side of the screen.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on Download EPUB. Save the file to a location that you will be able to find later (we recommend the Desktop - even creating a folder for your eBooks on your desktop).
6. Now open the file you just downloaded and it should Open with Adobe Digital Editions (if not, right click on the file and select open with and then Adobe Digital Editions)
7. You should be in Library mode. If you are not then click on the top left button which depicts three vertical books.
8. Connect your Nook to your computer using the USB cable that came with your Nook.
9. Your Nook should appear on the left side. If it does not, then restart Adobe Digital Editions with the Nook still connected.
10. When you plug your Nook into your computer, it might kick off an "AutoPlay" dialog box, asking what you would like to do. Close that before trying to drag and drop anything onto the Nook in Adobe Digital Editions.
11. Now drag the cover of your book to your Nook and it should download onto your device. After it is done safely eject your Nook.

Directions for Reading your Google EBooks on a Sony Reader

First Time Users Only:
1. If you don’t already have Sony’s Reader Library Software you can download it from
http://ebookstore.sony.com/download/
2. You also will need to create a Reader Store Account which will keep track of your EBooks.

All Other Times
1. Go to Google Books (
http://books.google.com/ebooks) and sign in under the same username that you used to buy the initial eBook from our website.
2. Click on View All under My EBooks which should be on the left side of the screen.
3. Then click on the Title of the book located under the picture of the cover.
4. Click on Read on your device on the left side of the screen.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on Download EPUB. Save the file to a location that you will be able to find later. (We recommend the Desktop - even creating a folder for your books on your desktop.)
6. Now open the file you just downloaded and it should open with the Reader Library. (If it doesn't, right click on the file and click open with then select the Reader Library Software.) It should appear under Library on the left side.
7. Now connect your Sony Reader to your computer using the USB cable that came with your Reader.
8. Your Reader should appear on the left menu.
9. Drag and drop the cover of the book you would like to transfer onto the Reader symbol and it should begin Transferring.
10. Wait until the transfer is complete, then safely eject your Reader.

As of summer 2011, Amazon has determined that only eBooks from Amazon may be downloaded onto a Kindle. If this changes, we will let you know at once.
