Carol has been working at The Learned Owl for seven years after retiring from teaching. She has four grandchildren that she adores, and she spends as much time with them as possible (they call her Gigi!). She frequently travels to Charlotte, North Carolina to visit her son and his family. As you can guess, Carol loves beach vacations and swimming. She also loves new restaurants, movies, the theater, art, books, and she enjoys going for walks. Her favorite types of books are ones that challenge her to learn something new about the world, other people, and/or herself. At The Learned Owl, Carol leads the book groups. Check out the calender if you want to come to a group- she always welcomes new members.
