Juliette Wells & Jane Austen at The Learned Owl (July 14)

Please join Jane Austen authority, Juliette Wells, on Saturday, July 14, from 1-3 pm to celebrate the 200th anniversary of PERSUASION.  Juliette, a professor at Goucher College, wrote the introduction to the new Penguin edition of the Austen classic.  Join us at The Learned Owl as we revel in the 19th century, discuss Jane Austen and sip some tea!

Learned Owl History Book Club: Suez Canal (July 15)

The Learned Owl History Book Club will meet on Sunday, July 15th, at 2 p.m. at the shop. The topic for the meeting is "The Suez Canal", and any interested in attending are welcome. Read a book on the topic and come to discuss what you learned with others. Didn't get a chance to read anything? Come anyway, and learn from others.

David Giffels at the Twinsburg Library (July 9)

All readers and aspiring writers are welcome to attend the 2018 half-way party with the author of the critically acclaimed books All the Way Home, The Hard Way on Purpose, and Furnishing Eternity.
