The Hudson Library will be hosting Barry Strauss on February 23rd at 7pm. Strauss will be discussing his book The Trojan War.

The ten year long Trojan War was waged over Helen, the beautiful wife of King Menelaus of Sparta, who had run off with Paris, a prince of Troy. This story has been a source of artistic inspiration for more than two thousand years. Strauss draws on revolutionary new archeological. linguistic, and cultural findings to give a fresher, more accurate, and more controversial picture than ever before of the Greeks and the Trojans, and the conflict between them.
